Pastels and palm trees.

When Hotel Celino added a fourth, ultra-modern building to its historical Art Deco complex in South Beach, Navigate was tasked with creating an elevated and relaxing room experience, while capturing the vibrant energy of colourful Miami throughout – and in the spaces surrounding – all four buildings.

What we did for them.

Interior Design

Staying true to Hotel Celino's Art Deco history, the Navigate team designed three soft pastel palettes – one for each historical building. For the new building, a fourth, ocean blue-inspired palette was designed to play up the rooms' full-height glazing, and stunning views of the beach. To tie the distinct buildings together, common elements of white natural stone, whitewash wood, and brass were used throughout.

Amenity Design

Beyond creating an elevated experience within each of the Celino Hotel historical buildings, Navigate also designed all surrounding amenity areas, including the swimming pool and terraces, the entire patio strip along the beachfront, and two new restaurants inside the hotel complex.

Custom Furniture & Area Rugs

Organic elements like curved headboards, soft seating, and round tables were introduced to offset the otherwise geometric Art Deco buildings, and casegoods were designed with clean lines to complement the minimalist architectural style. Custom rugs were designed for each building, each of which tied back to the individual room finishes.
