A cut above the rest

This daring Queen East salon bucks tradition with a minimalist, Zen-inspired interior (2019 Contessa Award – Salon Interior Design of the Year by Navigate Design)
that draws upon Japanese design principles. We worked to create a brand that complimented the industrial yet calming aesthetic of the interior, while also reflecting the innovative techniques and high-level service offered by the salon.

Playing off the shape of a photograph or frame, this concept embodies the idea of capturing a moment. The framed lines become a graphical element that can be carried through other applications while the sophisticated serif fonts allows for maximum legibility and a timeless feel.
